My cunning plan for renewal time has been thwarted for now - Last night I went hunting for a new name for myself, that was more reflective of "me" (since this name was created on a whim when I had no idea what DA was all about...).  And what did I find - 15 preferred names that I carefully selected were not only taken already, but 12 of them were signficantly inactive (and 11 had never submitted a single deviation!!) That seems to be the crux of the problem with account names on DA - they are mostly created on a whim the first time a person visits and sees enough to be interested in registering.  I originally thought that I'd have a wander a

My DA subscription is due, a full year has almost passed - doesn't time fly when you're having fun???  But I want to change names - this account was created on a whim, when I discovered DA, and now I want my name to be.... better!! I've asked the Help Desk what my options are - I believe DA never expires/deletes accounts, which I'm sure does great things for their account tallies, but doesn't help me since the name I want to use appears to be taken!  And I'm poor as well (aren't we all?) - I'm wondering if the few extra features I get (and no ads) is worth the dollars? What to do, what to do...
